• SubD

  SubD, or Subdivision, is a 3D modeling workflow that converts low-poly meshes into high-poly meshes. This is done by dividing 4-sided polygons into another 4-sided polygons. Using the various Artisan tools, you can knead the SubD surfaces to your heart’s content in real-time. For example, there are tools for extrusion, inlay (kind of offset for complex surfaces), loops, bridging, symmetry and more!

• Transformation

  Select vertices and move, rotate or scale them. For example, you can create twisted designs or just align vertices with surfaces in your model.

• Sculpt

  Sculpt is a type of digital claying and with it you easily create detailed characters, landscapes and organic objects. There are tools for detailing, cutting, stretching, expanding, symmetrical sculpting, refinement and more.

• Site

  Easily create precise terrains in SketchUp, determining direction and slope. Here you can lock points for correct alignment, create a slope between two points for a road up, for example, and cut out areas to drop around objects.
