Difference between AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT:

Autodesk AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT are essentially the same: you can create CAD designs with both software.

AutoCAD LT is the simplified (budget) CAD software. The main difference between AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT is that with AutoCAD LT you can only create 2D designs while with AutoCAD you can create both 2D and 3D designs. You can also make simple modifications with AutoCAD LT, but it does not support built-in programming capabilities (AutoLISP) like AutoCAD.
