Content SketchUp Basic Training:

The topics we normally cover are as follows:

• Interface: what do you see on your screen, what sits where
• Navigating: how do you look around in 3D? How to use your mouse
• Drawing: the drawing tools in SketchUp, utilizing the alignment system, entering measurements
• Setting and using the measurement units
• Tape measure, guide lines
• Groups and components: why use them, how to use them and what is the difference between the two, and how to use the 3D warehouse efficiently
• Edit: move, rotate and flip and copy
• Using and adapting materials
• Using and customizing styles
• Shadows and location
• Cross sections
• Using Scenes for fixed views and animations
• Presenting in LayOut (optional topic, depending on the pace and needs of the group)
• Extensions (optional topic, depending on the needs of the group)

• For Online Training, it is recommended to have two screens and a headset.
• A full-day online training is not recommended because of the intensity for student, better to schedule two half days.
• Cancellation of a training can be done up to 7 days before the scheduled training.
